For 15 years, authors Joe Beelart, Cliff Olson, and a loosely knit group of adventurers branded the Clackamas Sasquatchians gathered seemingly genuine accounts relating to Bigfoot along 70 miles of forest road between the small mountain towns of Estacada and Detroit.

Joe Beelart

Author Joe Beelart was raised on a ranch in the north Nebraska sand hill. His family moved to the Oregon Coast Range foothills in 1970. Joe has been interested in the phenomena of Bigfoot since 1993. After studying the creatures in the Coastal Range and upper Clackmas River, in the year 2000 Joe expanded his areas of interest to the Wind River systems in southern Washington.

Cliff Olson

Author Cliff Olson was brought up with fishing and hunting in northwest Oregon. During the beginning of the Korean War Cliff joined the Navy, became a electrician and sailed the north Pacific supply route. After his serving the Navy, Cliff and his family settled down in Clackamas, Oregon. In the early 1990's Cliff became an in Ray Crowe's Western Bigfoot Society and his adventures continued from there.
